Isolation is often part of everyday life for those affected
We are currently experiencing first-hand what it means to isolate ourselves from society. We have to avoid social contact in order to protect our fellow human beings and ourselves. Children and young people affected by a rare disease are particularly at risk. But while we are allowed to return to our everyday lives after the coronavirus crisis, the families affected must continue to protect themselves. For them, social isolation is often part of everyday life.
