We fortified ourselves with croissants and orange juice for a voyage of discovery through the zoo. Then we went to the exclusive giraffe feeding. It was exciting and even the children in wheelchairs were able to enjoy the fun to the full. It was an unforgettably funny moment when the rough tongue licked the food off your hand. Petting and feeding the cute dwarf goats was more relaxing for some. With one Kiwanis helper per family, we then continued our leisurely tour of the zoo. After a delicious lunch in the Himapan Restaurant, the bravest families ventured out to ride the elephants. Many thanks to the Kiwanis Club Rapperswil-Jona for this magical day, which was fully booked in no time at all! We love animal events!
